Martini Northern was selected as the General Contractor forthe renovations of the former U.S. Army Reserve Center intothe new Portsmouth Senior Activity Center.The extensive renovations included the creation of a frontentry Lounge and Cafe, multiple classrooms, new handicapbathrooms, shower and changing rooms, group activityrooms and an assembly room to accommodate over 200people. A front entry addition was constructed for a newfront entry vestibule with a custom wood storefront
- Per the City of Portsmouth's request, Martini Northern provided a design-rebuild of the existing commercial kitchen to accommodate for larger functions at the facility.
- New underground drainage, site lighting, granite curbing were installed throughout the new driveway and parking lot.
- Visitors are now welcomed by a custom glulam beam canopy with a polycarbonate skylight system that is illuminated at night to highlight the new facade.
