Martini Northern completed NewHampshire’s first commercial-scalePassive House in Gilford, NewHampshire. The 23,000 square foot, 2-story, wood-framed building included24 senior living apartments for theLaconia Area Community Land Trust.
- The Martini Northern team worked closely with Stewart Associates Architects and Passive House consultant DEAP Energy Group to ensure the highest levels of energy efficiency through a highly detailed and airtight building envelope, which included superinsulation and high- performance windows and door
- The buildings mechanical systems included strategically balanced heat and moisture recovery ventilation, and solar hot water systems.
- Martini Northern started sitework in the fall of 2017 and expedited the rough-in framing throughout the harsh winter conditions to complete the project on schedule in June of 2018
